EmbedRace ("we") runs EmbedRace. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a login credential, handled by our login provider Supabase. If you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your email with us.
- Profile (optional): if you fill in the "My profile" page, we keep your name and, only if you choose to give them, your mobile number, whether you are a student or engineer, your college or company and your city. They are stored with your login at Supabase, used to greet you and to reach you about your account, never sold, and you can change or delete them there at any time or ask us to erase them.
- Purchase: your user id, the Razorpay order and payment ids, the amount and the access dates. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details; Razorpay handles them.
- Receipts: after a payment we email you a receipt through our email provider (Resend) and keep the payment record so you can view it again in My profile.
- Progress: mission progress and your detail level are saved in your own browser on your own device, not on our servers.
- Security log: each time you open the lab we store your user id, the time, and one-way hashes of your network address and browser type (not the real values). We use it only to detect shared or abused accounts.
- Devices: a random id stored in your browser, kept on our side only as a one-way hash, so we can enforce the limit of 2 devices per account. We may email ourselves an alert when an account looks shared.
- Copy marking: the course files delivered to you contain an invisible mark identifying your account, so a leaked copy can be traced.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs such as IP address and time.
Why
To let you log in, to unlock what you paid for, to prevent sharing and fraud, to handle support and tax records, and to email you about your account. We do not send marketing emails. We email you only about your account, payments and support.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (login and database), Razorpay (payments), Vercel (hosting), Google Fonts (fonts are fetched by your browser from Google). Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside India.
How long
Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as long as the law requires for accounting. for the period Indian accounting and tax law require
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data by emailing support@embedrace.com. Deleting your account ends your access.
